ICE CREAM ENGAGEMENT SHOOT
There’s something so special about photographing a couple in a place that’s been part of their love story. For Laurel and Zach, Chelsea has been home for nearly their entire relationship, so it only felt right to capture their engagement photos in the West Village and Chelsea area of New York.
Their story began in a very 2020 way. Zack and Laurel met on Hinge during COVID and had their first few dates over FaceTime. What started as virtual hangouts quickly grew into something real. Five years after they swiped right, they're celebrating their engagement in the neighborhood where so many of their memories were made.
We timed their session around golden hour, and the soft evening light gave everything a romantic glow. One of my favorite moments was when we stopped at Salt & Straw for ice cream. Watching them laugh together over cones felt like genuine love - a perfect mix of sweetness and nostalgia.
