Parkwood Estate
Just before Mash & Mush's Nikkah ceremony, I had the opportunity to photograph their beautiful engagement shoot at Parkwood Estate, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for the couple. As a Toronto engagement photographer, Parkwood is one of my favourite places to shoot because of its timeless architecture, manicured gardens, and sense of quiet elegance.
Mash and Mush arrived dressed in formal attire that perfectly complemented the historic vibe of the estate. Their outfits reflected a modern South Asian look, opting to go with a white ensemble that deviated from the classic bold colours of Desi outfits. Parkwood Estate is versatile as it offers a variety of backdrops, from stone staircases to lush garden paths, allowing us to create an entire gallery of moments that felt editorial yet personal.
This session was a great reminder that you don’t have to wait until the wedding day to document meaningful moments. Whether it’s a quiet session before your Nikkah or a full engagement shoot in the months leading up to your big day, these photos become a beautiful chapter of your story.
