London Ontario Wedding Photographer
Sara and Mohammed’s wedding was a close-knit, intimate Arab wedding that was filled with loving friends and family. Furthermore, you may remember my previous blog post about their intimate engagement photos at the Guild Inn Estate and Scarborough bluffs. To view their engagement photos, click here.
We started the day at the iconic Charlie’s Hair Salon, located in London, Ontario where Sara had her hair and makeup done. We then made our way to Sara’s home where I was able to photograph her beautiful and luxurious ballgown wedding dress. Once Sara got in her dress and we photographed her portraits, we awaited the groom’s arrival for their zaffeh. From there we drove down to the Civic Gardens where we photographed the bride and groom’s family photos.
The initial plan was to photograph the family photos at the Civic Garden and subsequently do the bride and groom’s portrait photos at the same location. But, with such a beautiful ballgown wedding dress and a stunning long veil, I knew we had to find a more suitable location. Given that Western University was a ten-minute drive, we took a short drip down the road.
One of the best things about photographing at Western University is that its rustic and brick-worked architecture lends itself to such stunning images for weddings. It’s truly a gem you can only find in London Ontario and something we wished we had in the GTA as a wedding photographer. More specifically, if you have an epic dress like Sara, we needed to make sure we had some fabulous photos. We decided on King’s University College at Western specifically at St. Peters Seminary for their wedding photos. With a beautiful bride, groom and perfect lighting, the results were remarkable. We were able to photograph such epic and royal-looking wedding photos, ones that would make anyone go ‘wow’. Afterward, we went directly to their reception.
